Parent Resources

Equip, Encourage, and Empower

Parents are the primary disciple-makers in the home.  But we also know you are feeling the struggles and fatigue of parenting.  We are here to shout out encouragement, walk with you in community, and empower you to affect spiritual change in your home.

New Christian Resources

If your child has recently accepted Christ into his/her life we have the I'm A Christian Now Series available as a Bible study for you and your child to do at home.  It will walk your child through daily workbook activities that teach them about a life in Christ.  Each week contains a parent talk!  Contact us to get a book.

Younger Child Book:  Ages 6-9,  Eight weeks
Older Child Book:  Ages 9-12, Eight weeks
Growing in my Faith:  90 day follow-up devotional

This is just another way to connect with other parents and receive encouragement, helpful resource links, and GBC Kids updates.

Parent Discipleship Classes

10 week classes to equip parents and grandparents to disciple their kids (0-18 years) using biblical principles and practical ideas.  Stay tuned for the next class!

Family Events

Our family events are designed to equip and encourage you in a community setting.  Not only will the family activities engage your children, you will gain tools for your family discipleship journey and build friendships along the way.  See upcoming events below!

Gospel Project

All of your kids 5th grade and under will be taught the same Bible story at an age-appropriate level each Sunday.  Rather than having multiple lessons to discuss, there will only be one.  We offer several resources to help you ask questions and teach memory verses.

See the Kids' Page for more details and a short video about the Gospel Project!

Gospel Project At Home

Not sure what to use for family discipleship? The At Home Gospel Project  resource is sent out weekly by email to offer you a family worship experience that lines up with what we teach in GBC Kids on Sunday.   While we can present the story and help your kids understand it, we can't model it in daily life and help your kids apply it in real-time like you can. This resource will give you lots of ideas to do just that!

**The story in the At Home email will appear the week before we teach it at church.  We are hoping to back up what you teach at home.  Rather than asking your kids what story they learned on Sunday, you can ask them what else they learned about the story you already taught!
