What did this sermon tell us about God?

What did this sermon tell us about us as people?

What did you hear in this sermon that applied the most to your own life?

The sermon argued that "sex has boundaries because it is sacred." How does thinking of sex as sacred (rather than merely restricted) change the way you understand God's commands? What difference does that perspective make?

Our culture often says our deepest identity is found in our desires, while Scripture teaches that God created, redeemed, and will resurrect our bodies. How does that biblical vision challenge the way our culture (and perhaps even we) think about our bodies and our identity?

The sermon ended by reminding us that Jesus came to redeem the sacred things that have been broken, including us. Which part of today's message do you most need to believe this week: that God's design is good, that his commands lead to life, or that his grace is sufficient? Why?
